Teaching and Training

The group is involved at all academic levels in the teaching of atmospheric physics and also organizes annual training sessions on the use of the LMDz Model.

Academic courses

• 4 professors and associate professors at the UPMC university (including 1 emeritus professor) at undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels:
• Undergraduate courses : courses of the UPMC Earth Sciences department (fundamentals of atmospheric physics, atmospheric chemistry, climate processes and feedbacks, past climates, planetary atmospheres...)
• Graduate courses : see the first year (M1) and second year (M2) Master's courses
• PhD level : 17 PhD theses in the group since 2007 (see the Environmental Science PhD School website)
• Different courses at Master levels taught by CNRS researchers at SU, ENS.  Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole des Ponts

Training activities

• Training in the use of the LMDz model -> 20 to 30 participants each year (see the program here)
• Training in science for 2nd grade teachers
